Winter wedding inspiration shoot

It's always lovely to collaborate with fellow US based designers, so when Annette Thurmon from Chaviano Couture contacted me about teaming up for a Winter inspired shoot, I knew it was going to be a dream project to watch unfold.

Winter weddings are very inspiring -especially for a Florida designer- so having the opportunity to participate in a seasonal wedding shoot was more than exciting!

I love the understated and elegant atmosphere this shoot evokes. The deep blue and grey shades picked by Jessica Sloane captured the refreshing, brisk weather. Ivories and powder blue against textures of lace and tulle created a dreamy tranquility, while endearing details like blueberries and lush florals by Amy Osaba added the perfect touch of organic sweetness.

The bride wore our Swan Queen lace robe, lined in powder blue silk chiffon while getting ready. Lace layered over the pale shade of blue creates the most gorgeous compliment - texture and color embracing the winter weather while still emitting a warm glow, like sunlight reflecting off snow.

To emphasize the timeless elegance of the affair, soft and gorgeous make-up was done by Amanda Paige Gross

The bride wore a beautiful Chaviano Couture gown.

Subtle, natural, and delicate elements all came together seamlessly to express what makes a wintertime wedding so magical and memorable...

Real wedding: An elegant outdoor Wyoming wedding

Surrounded by distant mountains and grassy hills, unbelievably tall trees and a crystal clear lake, the natural beauty of the wide, open space was the perfect backdrop for this bright and sunny celebration. These images by Shawn Connell for Christian Oth Studio perfectly capture the gorgeous landscape, impeccable style, and attention to detail of the Caruso-Fenty wedding featured in Brides magazine. The weather couldn't have been better for them, and it truly brought together this black tie affair with their outdoor-chic style.

While getting ready, Catherine wore our Swan Queen bridal lace and silk robe, which was given to her as a gift from her mother. Dressed in delicate Chantilly lace with a silk chiffon lining, the Swan Queen robe set the mood for Catherine and her bridesmaids as the moment approached to walk down the aisle and meet her groom-to-be. Her smile shined with anticipation as she put on the Aquamarine earrings her husband gave her, and the antique cameo brooch her grandmother gave her to fulfill her "something old." Once dressed in her stunning Vera Wang Hilary lace mermaid gown, she was ready to venture outside with her groom and feel the uplifting air of endless possibility...

Featured in Brides magazine, we are so thankful for the love and support from our lovely brides, mothers of the bride, grooms, bridesmaids, editors and friends. A special Thank you to Mallory from Christian Oth Studio who send me these gorgeous images.
