It's always lovely to collaborate with fellow US based designers, so when Annette Thurmon from Chaviano Couture contacted me about teaming up for a Winter inspired shoot, I knew it was going to be a dream project to watch unfold.
Winter weddings are very inspiring -especially for a Florida designer- so having the opportunity to participate in a seasonal wedding shoot was more than exciting!
I love the understated and elegant atmosphere this shoot evokes. The deep blue and grey shades picked by Jessica Sloane captured the refreshing, brisk weather. Ivories and powder blue against textures of lace and tulle created a dreamy tranquility, while endearing details like blueberries and lush florals by Amy Osaba added the perfect touch of organic sweetness.
The bride wore our Swan Queen lace robe, lined in powder blue silk chiffon while getting ready. Lace layered over the pale shade of blue creates the most gorgeous compliment - texture and color embracing the winter weather while still emitting a warm glow, like sunlight reflecting off snow.
To emphasize the timeless elegance of the affair, soft and gorgeous make-up was done by Amanda Paige Gross.
Subtle, natural, and delicate elements all came together seamlessly to express what makes a wintertime wedding so magical and memorable...
