A Dream Destination Wedding On The Amalfi Coast

Intuitively, she sees how a timelessly elegant French lace robe
can transform the experience of getting ready on the morning of her wedding: there she iswrapped in lace and silk, sipping champagne with her girls, the picture of anticipation, of radiant, feminine, expectant happiness.

She sees...herself, the Girl & a serious dream, a dream that is about to come true...

This intimate wedding inspired by a classic Italian fairytale has an aura of freshness - from the venue: Duomo di Amalfi, a spectacular 9th century cathedral in Ravello, to the lush and lovely florals by Myrtle et Olive.

Australian bride, Jem, got in touch with us for her morning-of wedding day attire, and once we found out it was a destination wedding, we were overjoyed to go over all the different options with her.

Ever since we designed a custom piece for the Moda e Arte Workshop, we've been inspired by the beauty of the Amalfi landscape and architecture.

Jem wore our signature Swan Queen lace robe, paired with our Pima cotton Ivory slip underneath. She handpicked our unlined lace robe for it's classic yet modern feel, and intricate lace motifs that delicately frame the silhouette. The lightness of our French lace made for a breezy, lighter than air look and made for the ultimate morning bridal style.

She looked so radiant, happy, and beautiful wearing our lace robe while getting ready for her wedding at the stunning Palazzo Avino suite.

The perfect choice for her wedding style - a sophisticated ensemble that's relaxed and light, and effortlessly paired with our slip for beautiful "before the gown" photos.

We couldn't adore her bridal style more, and among a saturated market of imitations and copycats, it was a delight to meet a bride who not only has an eye for the real thing, but an appreciation and love for the quality and craftsmanship of our designs.

After a morning of getting ready bliss, an intimate photo session followed with the amazing Aussie wedding photographer, Jemma Keech, and styled by our friend and international wedding planner + designer, Joy Proctor. Then, she stepped into her stunning custom gown by Paolo Sebastian, and walked down the aisle surrounded by gorgeous mosaics and a crystal chandelier.

An intimate ceremony of close friends and family followed, all gathering into a candle and flower-filled dining room for the reception.

Afterwards, a breathtaking view from the terrace and a firework finish brought this celebration of love to a spectacular close. This romantic wedding brought together an amazing team of talented and creative vendors, bringing Jem's vision to life.

Congratulations to Jem and Brodie! Their wedding is truly one to inspire...

Xx, Anita
