Classic Summer Provence Wedding featured on Style me pretty

The end of Summer is just around the corner, although it's a little harder to tell here in Florida, and with today's real wedding feature on Style Me Pretty, we think it's the perfect time to reflect on the past few months, and anticipate what's coming up for us in the next year!

This gorgeous Provence wedding has us dreaming about the wonderful summer we had. All beautifully captured by Nadia Meli Photography, these images have us swooning over every detail from Florence and Anthony's charming, rustic wedding. The color palette they chose is so lovely, we just love how the light pinks and powder blues were used! From the groom's bold tux, to the soft bouquets and centerpieces, all the colors blended so beautifully to create a fresh and organic atmosphere.

Florence wore our soft Elizabeth getting ready robe, made from cotton lace. She looked so serene while getting her makeup done before slipping into her Reem Acra gown. Her bridesmaids also beamed with delight and looked so pretty in their baby blue tulle bridesmaids skirts! What a fun twist on traditional bridesmaid attire!

This wedding is beyond breathtaking. The perfect combination of classic elegance, with a carefree lightheartedness. It was such a pleasure creating something special for Florence's special day!

We'll be dreaming of the long summer days that are finally coming to an end...

From Russia with love

Miles away on a gorgeous day surrounded by Russian countryside, a young bride prepared to wed...

Julia contacted me about making her a Swan Queen lace & silk robe with a custom sash color, and once I saw her lovely wedding photos by Marina Muravnik , I was more than thrilled to see how stunning she looked on her day.

The bright, vivid colors Julia chose contrasted beautifully with the natural, rustic backdrop of the horse ranch they explored. Julia wore our Swan Queen lace & silk robe lined in off-white while getting ready. The bold royal blue of her birdcage veil and matching sash added the perfect pop of color against Julia's fair complexion. She added the bold sash to add a flair of her own personality--which makes us so happy to hear from our brides because we love customizing!

Since all our pieces are made in house in our Florida design studio we are able to spend the proper amount of time and effort collaborating with our brides and creating something truly one-of-a-kind!

Whether in hot air balloons, on horseback, or out on the water, Julia and her groom embodied a real life Russian fairy tale romance. Pretty florals surrounded the couple and their guests, and antique accent pieces truly set the mood for this sweet ceremony.

I was so excited to receive Julia's request for a getting ready robe because it's really very gratifying to make something special for someone, no matter where they are in the world. She was so sweet and just a delight to work with!

Roses are Red: Featured on Etsy's weddings newsletter

We love being a part of the Etsy community, and we're so grateful for the opportunity to be able to reach out and connect with brides from around the world.

The Etsy Weddings Newsletter always showcases the latest trends and fabulous ideas for weddings. We're loving their latest "Roses are Red" issue that features our Fleur le Resort Tulip lace robe in garnet red among so many other beautiful finds! This issue focuses on encouraging brides to find the color that inspires them...what a lovely idea! I've always been an advocate of embracing what makes you feel stunning!

Some images of our French lace robe:

This piece was created to reflect the vision of old Hollywood glamour. The stunning shade of red adds a vivid element to top off bridal lingerie, yet this robe is not strictly for brides! The Fleur le Resort robe is a luxurious item that adds a layer of striking tulip motifs all over your skin. Perfect paired with bridal lingerie on a boudoir shoot, wedding night and honeymoon.

Made with utterly soft French Chantilly lace, this timeless piece is an elegant pick to highlight your complexion and compliment your natural features.

Val + Lee Enchanting Florida Vintage Camp Wedding by Elizabeth Messina

It’s every girls dream to run away with the one they love, but how many of us actually get to make that childhood fantasy come true? As the winners of Cupcakes Vineyards, “Love Deliciously Dream Wedding” contest via Pinterest, our lovely couple Val + Lee joined their adventurous nature and love of the outdoors with inspiration from the Wes Anderson film Moonrise Kingdom, to form an enchanting 1960’s style camp wedding.

Artist & photographer Elizabeth Messina beautifully captured the heavenly scenery, and shot some really captivating images while showcasing Val and Lee's love, and the close friendship between Val and her girls.

In the middle of the Ocala National Forest, Val and her girls set up camp outside while getting ready. Guided by Elizabeth’s signature touch, she was able to achieve gorgeous, luminous photos by venturing outdoors for natural lighting, and an organic backdrop. The breathtaking lake shore and canopy of trees created a perfectly whimsical setting for Val and her girls, and the photos truly capture the natural radiance and happiness they all shared together.

Escorted by the cutest pot belly pig companion named Figgy Pudin (who wore a flower crown!), Val wore our Elizabeth lined cotton lace robe while getting ready.

Val’s bridesmaids looked beyond adorable in our silk robes trimmed with Italian macramé lace. Each one dressed in a different pastel color, which came out so beautiful against the soft, muted Florida forest; they all appeared like wood nymph’s circling around the bride. While Val’s girls buttoned her up in her beautiful custom Chaviano Couture gown, they were all able to take a moment in the fresh air of the morning and soak up the sun.

It was truly a pleasure to design and create these robes for our sweet bride Val.

Val + Lee’s vision was made a reality through their creative direction. Both working in the creative/graphic design field (they made the invitations & paper goods themselves!), they were able to seamlessly combine their love of film & design and produce a whimsical interpretation of true campground romance. With the help of some really wonderful Florida vendors, planning with Alison Events, and gorgeous florals by Natalie Bowen Design, Val + Lee were able to breathe easy and enjoy the enchanting grounds they transformed into their own Camp Waters.

This wedding was so utterly charming there’s just too much to cover in one post! Be sure to check back for Part 2 coming soon.
